Chrysocolla SACHA SISA · Macrame Necklace
Chrysocolla SACHA SISA · Macrame Necklace
SACHA SISA meaning JUNGLE FLOWER in Quechua, this design is inspired by the tropical flora here. Intricately woven petals and leaves with different tones to portray the beautiful array of colours of the jungle flora. This necklace is made with a lovely Chrysocolla stone, with a beautiful, vivid colour. Composed of a mix of pure turquoise, Malachite and little flecks of Copper. From a cultural perspective, Chrysocolla was and still is a very important stone. Used for thousands of years within pre-Inca cultures, especially along the coastal region of Peru, where it was thought of as a sacred stone. For them in their cosmo vision, Chrysocolla represented the connection between Man and the earth. 🌎
Handmade using high-quality Brazilian wax coated threads and only natural stones. This piece is water resistant, lightweight and feels comfortable on the skin. The necklace has an adjustable length, so can be worn high-up (as in the photo) or much lower depending on how you’d like to wear it.
Each necklace will arrive in a cotton ITAYA drawstring bag for safe keeping.
