This trio of necklaces are made with some very special Chakana carvings, each from a stone from Peru. They’ve been expertly made by lapidary artisan family who Marco has known for over 18 years. They are each carved from a single piece of stone, which is much more durable than a Chakana formed of multiple pieces glued together.

Colca Tacana - in a rare stone only found in the Colca region of Peru. It’s a beautiful volcanic stone, opaque, with a lovely smooth, matte texture. It has bands of burnt red, yellow and orange with areas of black. It holds a very grounding, earthy, ancient mountain energy, with its warm and fiery tones. ⛰️🔥🌋

Chrysocolla - from a cultural perspective, Chrysocolla was and still is a very important stone. Used for thousands of years within pre-Inca cultures, especially along the coast of Peru, where it was thought of this as a sacred stone. For them in their cosmo vision, Chrysocolla represented the connection between Man and the World. 🌎

Yellow Aragonite - another rarer stone, which is only found in a handful locations on earth. A stone known for its grounding and stabilising properties, helping one to feel more centred and steady. A good companion in moments of personal growth, helping clear the mind and motivate you. 🌱⚡

The Chakana or 'Inca Cross' is a hugely symbolic ancient design. There is so much meaning packed into every Chakana. A representation of the Inca cosmovision, most notably, the Three Worlds:

Hana Pacha – Heaven: the upper world, light sophisticated energy. The stars, divine creatures, and Gods. The Andean Condor 🦅

Kay Pacha – The earth: This world, light and heavy energy, here and now, Mother Earth. People’s lives. The Puma 🐆

Uqha Pacha – The Underworld: Heavier energy, but not Hell, may be lucky, beautiful things. Death. The Serpent 🐍
