This talisman is made with a lovely little piece of translucent white Andean Opal. A relatively rare Opal, which is only found in the Andes Mountains. Andean Opal has been used in jewellery for millennia, especially amongst pre-Inca cultures of the high Mountainous regions. ⛰️

We’ve paired the Opal with a piece of Ayahuasca (Caapi) from the Amazon - for a beautiful combination of Mountain (sierra) and Jungle (selva) energies. The Ayahuasca pieces come from the vine of the plant, here it is called ‘Flor de Ayahuasca // Flower of the Ayahuasca’ due to it’s flower-like pattern inside. The Ayahuasca is coated in a resin to enhance it’s pattern and natural colours. Ayahuasca is an incredibly sacred plant of the Amazon, used by indigenous peoples in their ceremonies of healing (both physical & spiritual) and connection with Mother Nature. Known as ‘Planta Madre // The Mother Plant’, to wear an actual piece of the plant, is to maintain a connection to it and to Mother Nature always.

Many choose to wear powerful stone & Ayahuasca combinations during their ceremonies, to aid their journeys into the spiritual world, or to wear as a physical reminder of the journey they experienced.
