Chakana Sun · Macrame Talisman Necklace

Chakana Sun · Macrame Talisman Necklace

US$55.00

This talisman necklace is made with a soapstone carving of the ancient Chakana symbol. The Chakana or 'Inca Cross' is a hugely symbolic ancient design. There is no much meaning packed into every Chakana. A representation of the Inca cosmovision, most notably, the Three Worlds:

Hana Pacha – Heaven: the upper world, light sophisticated energy. The stars, divine creatures, and Gods.

Kay Pacha –The earth: This world, light and heavy energy, here and now, Mother Earth. People’s lives.

Uqha Pacha –The Underworld: Heavier energy, but not Hell, may be lucky, beautiful things. Death.

When the Chakana is used for meditation, it is said to bring mental balance and a deeper insight at many levels of consciousness. The domed spiral above is a representation of the Sun. The Inca worshiped the Sun, known as the Sun God Inti, who was son of the Creator God Viracocha.

Made using high quality Brazilian wax coated threads, this necklace is adjustable in length, water resistant, light-weight and feels comfortable on the skin. All our Talisman Macrame Necklaces are designed to be unisex.

Each necklace will arrive in a reusable 100% cotton ITAYA drawstring bag for safe keeping.
