This is one of our new Warrior necklaces representing the different regions within Peru. This piece is inspired by the amazon JUNGLE. By the intense humid heat, lush plant life and the ancient Shipibo-Konibo cultures who have such innate knowledge of the healing powers of plants. Their understanding of Ayahuasca passed down from ancestors; woven into textiles. We’ve tried to encapsulate these elements within this necklace.

This piece combines a powerful carved black Onyx Warrior with a piece of Ayahuasca, woven together with intertwined leaf designs. The Ayahuasca pieces come from the vine of the plant, here it is called ‘Flor de Ayahuasca // Flower of the Ayahuasca’ due to it’s natural flower-like pattern inside. The Ayahuasca is coated in a resin to enhance it’s pattern and natural colours. Ayahuasca is an incredibly sacred plant of the Amazon jungle, used by indigenous peoples in their ceremonies of healing (both physical & spiritual) and to connect with Mother Nature. Known as ‘Planta Madre // The Mother Plant’, to wear an actual piece of the plant, is to maintain a deep connection to it and to Mother Nature herself. Many choose to wear powerful stone & Ayahuasca combinations during their ceremonies, to aid their journeys into the spiritual world.

Handwoven using high quality Brazilian wax coated threads and only natural stones, this piece feels comfortable on the skin. The necklace has an adjustable length, so can be worn high up (as in the photos) or a little lower depending on how you’d like to wear it.
