This is a one-of-a-kind sterling silver necklace, made with a beautiful semi-circular Labradorite stone. With its warm, golden/orange/copper colours, this stone was just asking to be made into a Sun inspired design! Therefore, this piece is inspired by the ‘Tayta Inti’ the Father Sun, the Sun God, adored deity in pre-Inca and Incan cultures.

The upper part of the design with the many spirals is a representation of the beginning, the creation of life force energy by Tayta Inti. With the lower part of the design symbolising the rays of sunlight powerfully beaming down towards earth. Each spiral, braid and silver bead has been created by hand in our home studio, here in Pucallpa, Peru.

This pendant is on a 20″ oxidised Sterling Silver foxtail chain (one length). The thickness of the chain balances well with the boldness of the pendant. You can choose the option below to have the pendant come with this chain, or to have the pendant on its own if you already have a chain you love.

The necklace will arrive in a reusable cotton ITAYA drawstring bag, within a pillow cardboard gift box – ready to be given as a present to someone special or to yourself!
